GPS lands a flush hand with Sports on PokerStars

Super Soccer Oddsfeed and Abelson Info are pleased to announce that Sports on PokerStars are the latest subscriber to their Goalscorer Prices & Settlement system. Offering up to 18 goalscorer markets across more than 50 competitions, GPS offers an unrivalled breadth of coverage combined with rapid real-time settlement.

Knowing the importance of a reliable goalscorer product, Heath Cram, Head of Sportsbook Program Management at Amaya Gaming, saw a clear advantage in signing up to GPS: Super Soccer Oddsfeed and Abelson Info's product offers an extensive and efficient goalscorer service which we look forward to integrating on site in the near future". Abelson Info's Simon Temple commented on the deal: "It’s great to get a contract in place with the latest player in sports betting. Appetite for individual player betting continues to grow and PokerStars sports have recognised the importance of including these markets. We are delighted to be working with them and are confident that GPS will add value to PokerStars sports".

All GPS data is available via a JSON feed and is designed for easy integration into any back-end system. GPS can provide custom settlement data for each client, according to their individual rule-sets. The service now offers a choice of either 'market-ready' prices or 'raw' prices, with the latter option allowing a client to set their own margin and ensure individuality in the marketplace. Full settlement data is provided for both pricing options.

After a busy 2014-2015 season, the off season will see the GPS software moved to next generation cloud servers, future-proofing the service. There will also be a review of the pricing process and any necessary coverage changes ahead of next season. Super Soccer's Jeevan Jeyaratnam explains: "This season has been our first on our current core pricing model and has proved to be a successful season's trading. We are always looking to improve our offering and will analyse the full season's data and tweak the model accordingly. With no major tournament taking place this summer, now is a great opportunity for bookmakers to evaluate their goalscorer offering and to integrate GPS into a sportsbook."

GPS won't stop completely during the summer months, with Copa America, U21 European Championship, MLS, Irish Premier League and Swedish Allsvenskan coverage ensuring that GPS clients will continue to see benefit from the product. Televised pre-season club friendlies will also feature to whet the appetite ahead of what promises to be an entertaining 2015-2016 season.
